As a DevOps Engineer at Wiser Technology, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and automating our cloud and hosted infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that enhance system reliability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage scalable cloud and hosted infrastructure.
- Automate and streamline development and release processes.
- Ensure systems adhere to industry standards and best practices for security and performance.
- Build tools to minimize errors and enhance customer experience.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for production issues and implement fixes.
- Design and maintain procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Offer direct and responsive support for urgent analytic needs.
- Participate in architectural discussions and software development activities.
- Leverage coding and scripting skills to solve complex workflow challenges.
- Collaborate with project teams to address technical infrastructure, security, and development issues.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency with Git and Git workflows.
- Solid programming knowledge and scripting capabilities
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and an understanding of Agile and DevOps principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, or a related technical field.
- Experience with container orchestration services, particularly Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in administering and deploying CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins.
- Solid experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of infrastructure scripting tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Experience with OpenStack is a strong advantage.
